A terrorist attack also strikes in Doda
Before this, there were terrorist attacks in Kathua and Reasi within the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the third such attack in three days. Terrorists targeted a temporary operating base of the army in Doda, which resulted in a firefight between the security forces and terrorists.
In Chattarkala of Doda, the exchange of gunfire between terrorists and security forces has left five soldiers and one special police officer wounded. The injured have been transported to the hospital for treatment. A group named Kashmir Tigers has claimed responsibility for this attack.
Another attack took place in Reasi on June 9th
The initial attack was made by terrorists in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, on June 9th. They targeted a bus carrying pilgrims around 6:15 pm. The ambush led to the bus plunging into a deep gorge after the terrorists who were hiding in hilly terrain opened fire. The attackers were reportedly concealed in the mountainous area.
