Scooty Stunt and Obscene Holi Festivities Lead to Arrests in Noida

The girls who were seen performing stunts on a scooty and playing Holi in an obscene manner in a viral video from Noida were issued a fine of 33,000 rupees by the traffic police. Noida police also registered a case against them for spreading obscenity and have now arrested both girls and a male accomplice.

Noida officers have nabbed Preeti, Vineeta, and Piyush near Sector 15 Metro Station. The trio made an obscene video in Sector 78 under the pretense of Holi celebrations. Following the incident, the police registered an FIR under IPC sections 279, 290, 294, 336, and 337. They will be presented before a magistrate today. Since all charges are bailable, they are likely to be granted bail today.

A video of these girls playing Holi in the Delhi Metro also went viral, displaying their 'lewd' conduct. They were seen smearing color on each other. The background music was the song 'Ang Laga De Re...' from the movie 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.' The video release sparked outrage among the public who criticized DMRC for allowing such behavior.

'Can’t Even Afford to Pay the Fine'

In an exclusive conversation with Aaj Tak, the involved girls stated they didn't have the funds to pay the fine. When asked if they considered the videos to be obscene, they replied if people didn’t like such videos, they would refrain from making them in the future.
