Just a day before the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize 2025, both Israel and Hamas have agreed on the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump's Gaza Plan. In a timely tweet, the White House hails Trump as 'The Peace President'.

This development occurs just before the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize announcement, as the 79-year-old Trump eagerly sets his sights on this prestigious award. The White House seizes the moment, as Trump leaves no stone unturned in his quest for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Trump's Sarcastic Take on the Nobel

In pursuit of the Nobel Peace Prize, the American President hasn't shied away from his signature sarcasm. His latest quip suggested that the Nobel committee might find a way not to award him the prize.

He remarked in the White House Blue Room, "I have no idea... Marco will tell you we've solved seven wars. We're close to solving the eighth. I believe we'll tackle the Russia situation too... I don’t think anyone in history has resolved so many (wars). But maybe they'll find a reason not to give it to me."

This statement was made just hours before he announced success in the Gaza Plan. Last week, Trump mentioned that if he doesn't receive the Nobel, it would be a "significant insult" to America.

International Support

Support for Trump’s Nobel candidacy comes not only from fellow Republicans but from several global leaders, including Pakistan. Ending the Gaza conflict would significantly bolster Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize résumé. Last month, France's President Emmanuel Macron endorsed the view, stating that U.S. influence is immense, and only Trump can halt wars.
