Sushil Kumar Modi, a prominent figure in Bihar's political landscape representing the BJP, has passed away at the age of 72 after a battle with cancer. The news of his demise was shared by the Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary on platform X, highlighting the significant gap Modi's absence will leave in the party's fabric in the state.

During a political pivot when Nitish Kumar allied with Lalu Yadav to form a grand alliance government, it was Modi who orchestrated a return to power for the BJP. He relentlessly held 48 press conferences that revealed the misdoings of Lalu Yadav's family, fully exposing them to the public eye.
