Post-Incident Evacuation by Authorities - DCP
South East’s DCP revealed that the accident occurred due to the wall of a 10-15-year-old slum collapsing, primarily inhabited by scrap dealers. The downpour caused this fatal collapse, exacerbated by the weak foundation of the wall. Upon receiving news of the collapse, police teams swiftly reached the site, facilitated rescues, and transported victims to hospitals. The DCP confirmed that following the unfortunate incident, the slum has been completely evacuated for safety reasons.
