The relief and rescue operations in the disaster-stricken Dharali-Harsil area of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand are progressing with great momentum. Central and state government agencies are tirelessly working to provide relief to the affected individuals, searching for missing persons, and restoring basic amenities. With the combined efforts of the army, NDRF, SDRF, police, and local administration, rescue operations continue for stranded pilgrims and local citizens. So far, 629 individuals have been rescued.
Uttarakhand's Health Secretary R. Rajesh Kumar expressed, 'I toured ground zero in Dharali, noting the health department's camp initiatives. I plan to visit the district hospital in Uttarkashi, where some patients are admitted. Under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's directives, health teams from NDRF, SDRF, and the Indian Army are collaboratively working.'

R. Rajesh Kumar stated that doctors in Dharali are assiduously treating those injured in the disaster. Additionally, 28 ambulances and backup ambulances are on-site. Four out of the 15 admitted patients have now been discharged. Most individuals have been rescued, and operations are anticipated to finish in one to two days. Pilgrims from Maharashtra expressed gratitude towards the army and state government for their support. Uttarkashi's District Magistrate Prashant Arya reported an immediate relief provision of 5,000 rupees to each impacted family.
