A devastating accident occurred in Sirsa, Haryana. A senior citizen riding a bicycle came under a pickup truck, leading to his instant demise. Shockingly, the pickup driver was completely unaware of the incident.
The elderly man's body was stuck under the vehicle. The driver continued to drag the corpse for about 3 kilometers until being stopped by a truck and a van driver passing by, who also recorded the horrific scene, too disturbing to be shown here.
Eye-witnesses chase and stop the pickup to save injured elder
An onlooker named Banarasi, along with his team, rushed to the pursuit. After following the pickup for 2 to 3 kilometers, they managed to stop it and rushed the injured elder to the hospital while handing over the pickup driver and his companion to the police, both appearing to be under the influence.
The desolate son of the deceased demands strict action
Rakesh Kumar, the son of the deceased Gurnam Singh, received information about the tragic event over a phone call while at his shop. He reported that his father met with a fatal accident and that the pickup vehicle was occupied by two individuals. Rakesh accused both of harboring intoxication and has demanded severe action against them. The police have assured that stringent measures will be taken.
