Among those who lost their lives in a devastating road accident in Ghazipur, was Dr. Soni, the beloved niece of MP Pappu Yadav. The news plunged the MP from Bihar Purnia into deep sorrow as he mourned the untimely death of his niece. Dr. Soni, who was traveling with her aunt and others to the Mahakumbh fair, met with this tragic end when their car collided with a truck loaded with gravel on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway. The unfortunate incident claimed a total of four lives, including Soni's.
A resident of Araria district, Dr. Soni was en route back to Bihar after the spiritual visit to Prayagraj’s Mahakumbh. Traveling with her were her aunt, an assistant, a known medical representative, and the driver. Close to the Birno station in Ghazipur, the car encountered a stationary truck on the highway, resulting in an impact so severe it severely damaged the front of the vehicle. The four passengers, including Dr. Soni, succumbed to their injuries instantaneously.
According to Ghazipur police, this tragedy unfolded near Birno station on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway. The incident led to the demise of two women and two men, all residents of the Palasi police station area in Araria district, while returning from the Mahakumbh pilgrimage. One injured person has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. Dr. Soni, along with her husband, was known to run a nursing home in Purnia.
