In the Divyadharm Apartment at the Jahaj Ghat in Bhagalpur, the death of Bhojpuri actress Annapurna, better known as Amrita Pandey, shrouded in skepticism. Upon receiving the information, the Jogsaar Police initiated an investigation. The crime scene was examined, collecting the sari noose and other materials including the actress's mobile phone. Annapurna, who featured in numerous films and serials across Bhojpuri and Hindi cinema, was also seen in web series and commercials.

Before her demise, the Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey left a heart-wrenching WhatsApp status: 'Life was aboard two boats; I scuttled mine to simplify her path.'

The Jogsaar police informed that there had been a report of a woman who had allegedly taken her own life. The officers swiftly reached the scene, only to find Amrita lying lifeless upon a bed. According to the family, her sister Veena found her hanging around 3:30 PM and immediately took her to the hospital, where doctors declared her deceased.

Family members expressed that there had been a marriage in the family recently and they had enjoyed the previous night joyfully. The suddenness of the event left everyone bewildered. Amrita had wed Chandramani Jhangad from Bilaspur in 2022. He is an animation engineer based in Mumbai, and they had no children. According to her sister, Amrita's career struggles and consequent depression led her to seek medical treatment.

Known for her roles in various series and movies, Annapurna aka Amrita Pandey was recently excited about her horror web series 'Pratishodh.' The investigating officer stated that the case would be thoroughly examined.
