On the day of Holi (March 25th), a devastating road accident occurred in Mathura, UP. A head-on collision between two bikes resulted in the death of three young men. Additionally, two individuals suffered severe injuries, casting a shadow of mourning over their families on this festive day. Meanwhile, police have taken custody of the bodies and sent them for autopsy.
Mathura's police reported that the incident took place yesterday afternoon near the Magherawale Hanuman Temple. The deceased were identified as 25-year-old Hemant, 36-year-old Hukam Singh, and 28-year-old Mahesh from Tosh village under the Jait police station. They were on their way to play Holi on their bikes.
SP City Arvind Kumar stated, "The bikers were headed out to celebrate Holi. In the accident, three lost their lives. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured have been hospitalized."
Three More Fatalities Reported in Budaun
In the Islamnagar police station area of Budaun, a collision between two motorcycles on Monday evening took the lives of three people, while a woman and a child were seriously injured.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Mohan Singh informed that the accident occurred on Bisauli Road near Chicheta village. According to police, Sanju (31) and Ajay (35) collided with another motorcycle carrying Pramod, his wife Geeta, and their one-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter Aashi.
He further stated that as a result of the collision, Sanju, Ajay, and Pramod died, while Geeta and Aashi were gravely injured. Sanju and Ajay hailed from Budaun's Bharatn village.
Upon receiving news of the accident, police arrived at the site and transported all injured parties to the Primary Health Center, where doctors declared Sanju, Ajay, and Pramod deceased. The injured are currently receiving treatment, and the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.
