A heart-wrenching story emerges from Lucknow, where a child's birth is overshadowed by the father's untimely death in a tragic accident. As joy turns to sorrow, the newborn and mother grapple with the painful reality in the same hospital as their beloved's body is held in the morgue.
The incident occurred in Lucknow's BKT police district area, where the family's happiness for the birth of a son was shattered when the father was killed in a road accident. The father's body was placed in the morgue of the very hospital where his son was just born.
Reportedly, the deceased, identified as Sarvesh from Mahiganva Ataraura in BKT, was residing at the local Ram Sagar Mishra Hospital, where his wife Sarojini was admitted for delivery. On Wednesday night, Sarojini gave birth to a son, bringing great joy to the family.
Tragedy Strikes on a Joyous Occasion
Sarvesh had stayed in the hospital that night but was advised by relatives to go home and rest. He set out on his motorcycle, but around 11 pm on the Sitapur Highway, he was struck by another bike speeding towards him. The collision was so severe that Sarvesh was thrown to the ground, sustaining critical head injuries. Quickly, the police rushed him to Ram Sagar Mishra Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Subsequently, Sarvesh's body was moved to the hospital's morgue. Meanwhile, his wife and newborn child were admitted in the same hospital's ward. Just hours after the birth of his child, the sudden demise of the father brought a mountain of sorrow upon the family. Upon receiving the news, Sarojini was inconsolable, overtaken by grief. The police completed the post-mortem of Sarvesh and then handed over his body to the relatives.
