A most peculiar sight unfolded on the highways of Malda, West Bengal, where two stray bulls locked horns in such a fierce battle that despite numerous attempts, they could not be separated. Eventually, the police were called to calm the chaos.

The incident took place near the Bulbulchandi Hospital Road area of Nalagola State Highway on a Wednesday evening when the two bulls suddenly appeared and started fighting. This led to a complete standstill of vehicles on the highway, attracting a crowd of onlookers.

As the bulls continued their tussle, the traffic jam worsened. Some locals tried to appease the fighting bulls, even with flaming torches in hopes they would stop, but the bulls persisted. It wasn't until the police were informed of the ongoing fight at the Habibpur police station that the situation began to change.

The Officer-in-Charge of Habibpur police station, along with his team, arrived at the scene. They prioritized clearing the area of people before daringly separating the bulls. Whilst some officers managed one bull, others contained the second. After a strenuous effort, the confrontation between the two bulls was finally settled. Local youth, Basant Mukesh Ghosh, commended the police for their courage in peacefully resolving the situation without causing harm to the animals, risking their own lives in the process.
