Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition:
Toyota’s apex SUV, the Fortuner, is now decked out in a fresh avatar. Today, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the new Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition in the Indian market. This iteration introduces bespoke cosmetic changes distinguishing it from the regular model.
The company, however, has not announced the pricing for the Fortuner Leader. Prices will be revealed at the dealer level. Prospective customers can book this SUV through authorized dealerships with a booking amount of Rs 50,000. It is noteworthy that, since its first launch in 2009, Toyota has sold over 251,000 units of the Fortuner.
What's Special about the Fortuner Leader:
The new Leader Edition of the Toyota Fortuner boasts dual-tone exterior paint, blacked-out alloy wheels, a wireless charger, a tire pressure monitoring system, and bumper spoilers at both the front and the rear. Color options include Super White with a black roof, Platinum Pearl with a black roof, and Silver Metallic with a black roof.
Power and Performance:
Alongside its sporty design, the Leader Edition is armed with a robust 2.8-liter diesel engine connected to a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission gearbox. In manual mode, this engine delivers 204 PS of power and a torque of 420 Nm. The automatic transmission variant produces a torque of 500 Nm.
