In a fiery address on Friday, Akhilesh Yadav, President of the Samajwadi Party, condemned BJP’s approach following Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest. He asserted, 'They (BJP) can jail leaders, but not the populace; the latter shall be their educators.'
Post visitation with the incarcerated senior party leader Azam Khan, the ex-Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh declared, ‘Sending leaders to jail and controlling the narrative won't help them. They are weakening democracy and silencing those who dare reveal the truth.’
Constructing a narrative of resistance, Yadav stated, ‘The BJP can imprison any number of leaders, but they cannot constrain the public.’ Such is the power of time; none can surpass it. When the time comes, the people will teach them an unforgettable lesson. The electorate awaits their turn to vote with bated breath.
