A sense of alarm ensued in Kanpur's Colonelganj area when parts of a human body were found stuffed inside three sacks near the Police Commissioner's residence. The dismembered remains were immediately sent for a post-mortem. The police suspect that the murder might have occurred elsewhere, with the body parts later transported and disposed of in the sacks. The identity of the deceased remains unknown, although the body appears to be 3-4 days old.
On Saturday morning around 9:40 AM, the police team on patrol noticed three suspicious bags near a wall on Excel Road. Upon inspection, they uncovered a body split into four parts, packed and discarded inside the sacks. The discovery led to the immediate dispatch of the remains for a post-mortem examination.
Upon receiving the information, DCP Central Pramod Kumar arrived at the scene. He reported that the body seemed to be 2-3 days old, emitting a foul smell. The patrol team retrieved the body parts in the morning and sent them for post-mortem analysis. Efforts are underway to identify the deceased, estimated to be in the age range of 20-22 years.

DCP Central Pramod Kumar stated that four police teams have been established to solve this murder case. The investigation is underway, with revelations expected soon.
