On April 22, Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a harrowing terrorist attack claiming the lives of 26 individuals. It has now been revealed that Pahalgam wasn't the only target; terrorists had two more tourist locations on their list.

Sources disclose that terrorists conducted reconnaissance on three additional sites before the April 15 Pahalgam attack. One terrorist scouted the amusement park in Pahalgam. Due to heightened security measures, this attack was averted.

During the assault in the Baisaran Valley, terrorists used an advanced ultra-secure communication system. This allowed them to communicate and message without the need for a SIM card, with two signals traced from this system.

Meanwhile, NIA sources suspect that terrorists might still be hiding in South Kashmir. There is a possibility of more terrorists lying low to provide cover in case of any military action from India.

To recap, the attack in Pahalgam on April 22 led to 26 deaths and injured 17. The terrorists meticulously selected their targets during the assault in Baisaran Valley.

In response to the Pahalgam attack, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) made the bold decision to suspend the Indus Water Treaty with immediate effect. This marked the first time India took such a stringent measure. Although India and Pakistan have had three major wars, this treaty was never previously suspended.

The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement regarding the decisions made by the Cabinet Committee, highlighting the immediate suspension of the 1960 Indus Water Treaty, to remain in effect until Pakistan ceases its support for cross-border terrorism.

Following these decisions, the Indian government also banned several Pakistan-associated YouTube channels from being accessed in India. Additionally, Indian airspace was closed to Pakistani aircraft until May 23.
