New Tata Punch Price & Features:
Tata Motors, a leading automobile company, has finally launched its much-awaited micro SUV, the Tata Punch facelift. With an eye-catching design and powerful engine, this SUV is priced starting at just 5.59 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). The company has made several significant enhancements, making it notably superior to the previous model.
The new Tata Punch is India's inaugural sub-compact SUV, equipped with an automatic transmission alongside CNG. Moreover, Tata has intensely focused on the SUV's safety aspects. The Punch underwent a real-world crash test with a Tata Truck, conducted at a speed of 50 km/h, with the truck stationary. Impressively, all four crash test dummies inside remained unharmed. Since its initial market introduction, nearly 700,000 units of this sub-compact SUV have been sold.
For the Punch facelift, Tata has introduced new lighting elements, a piano black finish, an updated lower grille, and new skid plates at the front. This redesign echoes the aesthetics of larger Tata models such as the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. The rear sports new taillamps and a redesigned bumper, exuding a bold appearance. Overall, the SUV's design has become even more captivating. The Punch facelift is available in colors such as Scientific Blue, Caramel Yellow, Bengal Rouge Red, Daytona Gray, Coorg Clouds Silver, and Pristine White.
The Tata Punch facelift now boasts a cabin that's more premium and modern. It features a new twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. Classic buttons have been replaced with toggle-style switches, and the AC vents have been redesigned. It includes a 26.03 cm infotainment system and a 7-inch TFT screen within the instrument cluster.
Tata Motors offers the Punch facelift in six variants: Smart, Pure, Pure Plus, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished Plus. This range, designed to cater to different budgets and needs, strengthens the Punch facelift’s position in its segment.

The most significant change in the Tata Punch facelift is its engine offerings. Tata has introduced three engine options for this SUV. This includes a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which is already available in other Tata models. Additionally, the naturally aspirated 1.2-liter petrol engine from the previous model continues to be available. Customers can also opt for the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine in a CNG option.
Tata claims the new Tata Punch is the fastest sub-compact SUV in its segment, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 11.1 seconds.
The new Tata Punch has received a 5-star safety rating from the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP). It is equipped with features like six airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, an iTire Pressure Monitoring System (iTPMS), 360-degree surround-view camera, automatic fold-out side rearview mirror (ORVM), rear wiper and washer, rain-sensing wipers, and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) with an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
