Indian-Americans are voicing grave concerns as the United States becomes a backdrop for anti-India activities. In a serious discussion with the Justice Department, FBI, and police, they have shed light on offensive operations emanating from the US soil.

During this crucial meeting, many in the Indian-American community expressed discontent over the US investigative agencies' inaction against promoters of terrorism within India.

Notably, there has been an uptick in attacks on Hindu and Jain temples in America, prompting Indian community leader Ajay Jain Bhutoria to convene the assembly. The meeting witnessed participation from over two dozen distinguished Indian-Americans.

The meeting included high-ranking officials from the Department of Justice including Vincent Player and Harpreet Singh, along with top FBI and police officers.

Post-meeting, Indian-Americans signal a heightened fear due to sudden temple attacks, expressing that the Indian diaspora is living in trepidation. They pinpoint how pro-Khalistani supporters brazenly terrorize schools and Indian stores with intimidating truck displays.

Throughout the session, frustration was aimed at agencies like the FBI and police who fail to act against individuals, including those who recently attempted to torch the Indian embassy in San Francisco and threatened diplomats openly.

American officials assured during the meeting that a working group will be convened focusing on the security of religious sites, with the inclusion of Indian community members.

Community leaders highlighted the police’s lack of support in mitigating growing fear among the diaspora and curtailing the anti-India activities in the US.

One Indian-American participant informed the FBI of the blatant threats made by Khalistani supporters to destroy Air India flights. Moreover, Khalistani activists openly flaunt messages targeting Hindus on banners, while the FBI admits to their limited knowledge of these activities.
