'Tantras' for Victory in Bihar Elections! Gathering of Tantrics at Ujjain's Cemetery and Rituals Since Dhanteras

According to mythological beliefs, Goddess Lakshmi rides an owl, therefore some tantriks sacrifice an owl for their practices. Turtle practice is also held in high regard. In the cemetery, some perform kodi, ratti, and Gauri-Ganesh practices.

The ancient city of Ujjain, renowned for its mystical essence, has been regarded as the most suitable place for tantra, mantras, and spiritual practices for centuries. It's no surprise that on the night of Diwali (Kartik Amavasya), the cemetery here becomes a focal point for tantriks and practitioners. This year, the Vikrant Bhairav cemetery in Ujjain is buzzing due to a specific purpose related to the Bihar elections; candidates are resorting to tantra rituals to secure victory.

Tantra practitioner Jayvardhan Bhardwaj shared that a special ceremony, initiated on the night of Dhanteras, aims at achieving success and fulfillment of practices, culminating on the night of Diwali. Bhardwaj clarified that one of the primary reasons for this ritual is indeed the Bihar elections, as some candidates are striving to ensure their triumph.

The practitioners assert that this place has historically been the spiritual abode of Lord Bhairav (also known as Bhairavgarh). The penance and rituals conducted here assure complete success, achievements, and victory.

The Unique Confluence of Amavasya and Tantra Practices

According to mythology, Kartik Amavasya (Diwali) is the most auspicious Amavasya of the year. This night is dedicated to tantra rituals for acquiring glory, prosperity, wealth, and dominance. During the rituals, Lord Bhairav, Mother Kali, and Goddess Lakshmi are invoked, along with worshiping the deities of wealth, Kubera, and Lord Ganesha.

Ujjain's cemetery is counted among the five famous cemeteries in the nation (Kamakhya, Tarapith, Rajrappa, Trimbakeshwar), where tantra practices are profoundly influential. Some tantriks practice owl sacrifices (as Goddess Lakshmi is believed to ride an owl), and perform turtle practice, kodi practice, ratti practice, and Gauri-Ganesh practice.

On the night of Diwali, while the entire city sparkles with light, some practitioners immerse themselves in darkness seeking the divinity of power, accomplishment, and wealth invocation.
