AAP MP Swati Maliwal is in the throes of mounting difficulties as an FIR was registered following an alleged altercation at CM Arvind Kejriwal's residence. Thursday evening saw Swati Maliwal engaged with the police for nearly four hours of interrogation, after which her statement was recorded. She was subsequently taken to AIIMS for medical examination, where she spent three hours.
Diverse tests were conducted during this time, including X-rays and a CT scan. Anticipation builds for her medical report due today. Swati Maliwal allegedly suffered internal facial injuries. A video has also emerged, showing her post-examination at AIIMS, visibly limping as she descends from a car and heads indoors.
An investigation is underway following the registration of the FIR. The police have visited Vibhav Kumar's residence late at night, yet he was not found. His wife was present at their home. Police are piecing together the timeline of events, in quest of CCTV footage that might shed light on Vibhav's whereabouts. Speculation arises that Vibhav may have fled to Maharashtra. The police have formed 10 teams to probe the case, with four dedicated to pinpointing Vibhav's location.
