In response to Gen Z's outrage, KP Sharma Oli stepped down from the Prime Minister's position on September 9. He had been sworn in as Prime Minister in July 2024, only to see his tenure cut short just over a year later.

Tomorrow, on Sunday, Nepal's Interim Prime Minister, Sushila Karki, is expected to expand her cabinet. She spent Saturday in discussions with Gen Z representatives and several other political and social groups, aiming to garner cooperation and support for the forthcoming cabinet expansion.
