In the political heat of Baramati's Lok Sabha seat, it is not a familial tangle but an ideological clash that takes center stage. The contest is set between Sunetra Pawar, wife of Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, and Supriya Sule, daughter of Sharad Pawar. Sunetra strongly holds that the Baramati Lok Sabha seat battle is founded on ideology and not relationships.

According to PTI, after paying homage to Babasaheb Ambedkar on his 133rd birth anniversary, Sunetra said she feels encouraged by the warm response from the stronghold of the Pawars in Baramati, which has been represented by Sharad Pawar as a multiple-term MP and Ajit Pawar as MLA.

'In the past, I campaigned for others, but this time I am seeking votes for myself,' said the NCP candidate, reflecting on the personal investment of the role. Sunetra Pawar's sentiments surfaced when questioned about the 'real' and 'outsider' comments by Sharad Pawar.

Ajit Pawar had urged voters during a meeting to give 'daughter-in-law' Sunetra Pawar a chance, as they have elected 'Saheb' (Sharad Pawar) and his daughter Supriya Sule multiple times. Sharad Pawar responded by distinguishing between the 'real' (daughter Supriya Sule) and the 'outsider' (Sunetra Pawar).

Sunetra Pawar conveyed the high spirits she witnessed among the people. She commented on the visible development works in the Baramati constituency and stated her candidacy arose from the public's demand. She also mentioned that having a government with homogeneous ideologies at both state and center levels could expedite developmental initiatives on the ground.
