In a recent operation near the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have detained a 34-year-old Pakistani infiltrator. Identified as Mohammed Nadeem, a resident of Samani village in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), he was intercepted by the army personnel in the Nowshera sector as he was attempting to cross the border late Friday night.
The patrolling soldiers spotted an unarmed infiltrator and after a brief pursuit, successfully apprehended him. Officials have reported they are currently interrogating the individual to uncover the motives behind his attempted infiltration.
Just six days ago, security forces unearthed a major terrorist hideout in Jammu and Kashmir. In the dense forests of Poonch district, they located a terrorist hideout. From this position, they seized seven rusted explosive devices and a wireless set.
An army officer had stated that during a joint search operation by the police and army in the Surankote area's Dara Sangla, they discovered a hideout inside a cave.
Blankets and other materials were found at the terrorist's location. It was initially revealed that this hideout was used by terrorists active in the region two decades ago.
