The event, organized lakeside by the Tourism Department and Indian Racing League, was aimed at promoting local tourism and multi-career options for Jammu & Kashmir's youth. The Formula-4 car rally stretched 1.7 km from Lalit Ghat to Nehru Park in Srinagar.
Officials made extensive arrangements for the event. The race path was leveled, barricades installed, plus staged medical teams with ambulances, firefighting equipment, and substantial security. Organizers noted that Kashmir had gained popularity in motor-sporting events over the recent years. Professional drivers also boosted the morale of Kashmiri youths looking to establish a career in Formula-4 racing.
Professional Formula 4 drivers wowed the crowd with their skillful maneuvers. The event kicked off at 10 AM and concluded by 2 PM, drawing many young spectators to the venue. Following the race, they engaged in conversations with the drivers. The professionals shared insights into car sports with interested youths, fueling their passion for adventure sports like Formula car racing.
