In a significant security operation, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has captured an alleged spy from the Kutch border in Gujarat. The suspect is believed to have been in communication with Pakistani intelligence and transmitting valuable Indian data. Reports reveal that over the past few months, sensitive details of various strategic sites in Gujarat were sent across the border. Currently, the ATS team has moved the suspect to Ahmedabad for further investigation. An official press briefing is anticipated shortly to disclose more about the case.

The ATS has confirmed the arrest, highlighting that the spy was in direct contact with an ISI handler located near the Pakistan border. The accused, originally from Gujarat, is undergoing rigorous interrogation which is expected to unravel substantial information.

Previously, a YouTuber named Jyoti Malhotra faced allegations of espionage on behalf of Pakistan and has been detained for ongoing questioning. Reports suggest that several sponsorships for her travel vlogs may hold interest for investigative bodies, notably a significant one from a UAE-based travel company.

Videos by Jyoti, who has been accused of espionage for Pakistan, have seen sponsorships from Wego, a firm licensed to operate in Pakistan. Hailing from Haryana, this travel vlogger is currently in Haryana police custody.

Police sources stated that all her sponsors are under scrutiny. Jyoti, who runs the YouTube channel 'Travel with Jo', boasts around 400K subscribers, alongside 132,000 followers on Instagram. Wego, with offices in Singapore and Dubai, operates legally in Pakistan with an International Air Transport Association (IATA) license.

While there's no direct evidence of Wego financing Pakistan, its operations have raised suspicions. Investigative agencies found that following the Pahalgam terror attack, during India's retaliatory Operation Sindoor—where 26 civilians were killed—Jyoti was in touch with Pakistani intelligence. Authorities now probe the exact nature of the confidential information shared by Jyoti with these agencies.

According to sources, Danish, expelled by India earlier this month, was also an agent of Pakistan's notorious Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Jyoti has admitted to parts of her role, but sources assert she had no direct links with any terrorist groups.

Investigators theorize that Jyoti was an 'easy target', lured by the prospects of earning quickly and living lavishly. Sources mentioned she believed trips to Pakistan would boost the views on her YouTube channel.
