The Samajwadi Party delegation will meet the families affected by the Sambhal violence on Monday. This information was shared by SP District President Asgar Ali Ansari. He stated that the delegation includes both Members of Parliament and the Legislative Assembly. It should be noted that the police had previously prevented the delegation from meeting with the victims.
These Members Are Part of the Delegation
The delegation includes MPs Harendra Malik, Ruchi Veera, Ikra Hasan, Ziaur Rahman Barq, Neeraj Maurya, and MLAs Iqbal Mahmood, Pinky Yadav, and Kamal Akhtar. SP District President Asgar Ali Ansari mentioned that Akhilesh Ji had promised financial assistance to the families of those who perished in the violence that occurred in Sambhal on November 24. This delegation was supposed to visit earlier, but the administration did not allow it.
The delegation will provide families of victims with checks of five lakh rupees each. SP President Akhilesh Yadav is also expected to meet the families but will do so at a later date.
Violence Erupted on November 24
On November 24, violence broke out during the demarcation of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Seven people were arrested in connection with the violence on Tuesday. So far, 47 people have been arrested, and 91 have been identified concerning this case. Four people lost their lives due to the violence.

The additional superintendent of police, Suresh Chandra, revealed that the individuals arrested on Tuesday have been identified as Shoaib, Sujauddin, Rahat, Mohammad Azam, Azharuddin, Javed, and Mustafa. The search for other accused individuals is ongoing, with multiple teams formed for this purpose. Eleven FIRs have been registered concerning this violence.
