South Africa is set to play not only two Tests but also three ODIs and five T20 matches during their India tour. Currently, a Test series between India and South Africa is underway. After this, the ODI and T20 series between the two nations will commence. The ODI series is scheduled to begin on November 30. Meanwhile, the T20 series is set to start on December 9.
The announcement for the South African team for the ODI and T20 series was made on November 21 (Friday). Temba Bavuma will captain the South African team in the ODI series, while Aiden Markram will lead in the T20 series. Anrich Nortje is also part of the T20 team, marking his return after a year-long recovery from injury.
The three-match ODI series between India and South Africa will kick off on November 30 with a game in Ranchi. The second ODI will take place on December 3 in Raipur, while the final ODI is scheduled for December 6 in Visakhapatnam. After the conclusion of the ODI series, the two teams will face off in a five-match T20 series.
The T20 series will begin on December 9 in Cuttack with the first match. The second game is slated for December 11 in Mullanpur (New Chandigarh). The third T20 match will be on December 14 in Dharamshala, the fourth on December 17 in Lucknow, and the final T20 of the series will be held on December 19 in Ahmedabad.
