Sonam Raghuvanshi from Indore is accused of murdering her husband during their honeymoon. Reports suggest she had an affair with a man named Raj Kushwaha. Police claim this affair led to Raja's murder. Sonam was arrested in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. However, her father, Devi Singh, stated to the media that he knows someone named Raj who works with him but cannot confirm if it's the same Raj Kushwaha. He remained consistent and present, both yesterday and today.
Sonam Raghuvanshi’s father, Devi Singh, expressed that the marriage was approved by both families, and the government in Meghalaya has been deceptive from day one. He shared that his daughter was at a Dhaba in Ghazipur last night and contacted her brother by phone. The police arrived and took her from there. Devi Singh has not spoken to his daughter. He questioned the accusations, stating that his daughter wouldn’t commit such an act. According to him, the Meghalaya police are entirely dishonest. He appeals to Home Minister Amit Shah for a CBI investigation, asserting his daughter's innocence.
At the National Highway located Dhaba Kashi Chaat Jayka, under the jurisdiction of Ghazipur district's Nandganj police station, Sonam Raghuvanshi reportedly appeared last night. Sahil Yadav, the Dhaba's operator, revealed that she arrived around 1 AM, used his phone to call her brother, and was in tears during the conversation. Sonam shared with the Dhaba's owner that after her wedding, she went to Meghalaya, where she faced robbery and her husband was murdered. The police took her away at 3 AM after she had arrived at 1 AM. Sahil called her family to inform them of her whereabouts.

Father Insists Daughter's Innocence
Sonam’s father proclaimed her innocence, insisting she could not commit such a deed. He argued she’s been framed. He leveled serious accusations against the police, asserting the Meghalaya officers concocted a bogus narrative to distract from the real conspiracy. He expressed confidence that a CBI investigation would unveil the truth, insisting that implicated officers would face incarceration once exposed.
Devi Singh vowed he would persist in pursuing justice for his daughter as long as he lives. He won’t rest until a CBI inquiry is conducted, and involved station officers are brought to justice. He voiced unwavering confidence in his daughter, stating he knows her limits and that she couldn't have engaged in such actions. He accused Shillong police of distorting events, noting their so-called evidence was prematurely leaked to the media.
