On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, accompanied by Home Minister Amit Shah and his elder brother Somabhai Modi. After voting, Somabhai Modi remarked, 'PM Modi voted first, followed by me. It's a moment of happiness and pride for the family, reflecting a decade of significant work.'

Somabhai Modi further stated, 'We used to wonder why he was doing certain things, but now it's clear he was right. I am unsure about the entire Gujarat, but I am certain that he (PM Modi) will form the government for the third time and become Prime Minister again. My hope is for Gujarat to attract more international industries and for the state's youth to have greater employment opportunities.'

Somabhai is the eldest among all siblings

It is worth noting that PM Narendra Modi has a total of six siblings: Amrit Modi, Pankaj Modi, Prahlad Modi, Soma Modi, and their sister Vasanti Ben Hansmukhlal Modi. PM Modi is the third in order of birth among his siblings. Vasanti Ben is the sole sister among five brothers. The eldest brother, Soma Modi, worked in the Health Department and is now retired. He runs an old age home in Ahmedabad and is engaged in social work.
