The 'Shrikrishna Gamana Path' will be constructed from Mathura to Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain. This announcement was made on the occasion of Janmashtami by Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. He mentioned that the governments of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will together develop the 'Shrikrishna Gamana Path,' which will promote the cultural and religious sites associated with Shrikrishna.
Addressing the media in Ujjain, CM Bhajanlal noted that Lord Shrikrishna received his education at the ashram of Maharishi Sandipani (Ujjain). The route from Mathura to Sandipani Ashram will be jointly developed as the 'Shrikrishna Gamana Path' by the governments of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Along this 'Shrikrishna Gamana Path,' locations connected to Shrikrishna's life and ancient beliefs will be identified and developed.

He also stated, “I have come from the birthplace of Krishna in Brijbhumi to his land of education. This initiative will further strengthen the centuries-old cultural and social ties between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.” On Monday morning, the CM also visited the Mukharvind Temple located in Govardhan, Mathura, where he performed prayer services and sought blessings from Lord Shrikrishna.
Shrikrishna arrived at the ashram at the age of 11
It is said that Shrikrishna traveled from Mathura through the small villages of Bharatpur, Kota, Jhalawar in Rajasthan, reaching the ashram of Maharishi Sandipani in Ujjain, where he stayed for approximately 64 days.
Learned 64 disciplines in 64 days!
It is noted that at the ashram of Maharishi Sandipani, Lord Shrikrishna received his education. He learned 4 Vedas in 4 days, 6 scriptures in 6 days, 16 disciplines in 16 days, 18 Puranas in 18 days, and mastered 64 different disciplines in just 64 days.
