Baba Siddique Murder Update:
In a shocking incident, former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai. Investigations led to the recovery of two pistols from the shooters responsible: one is a locally produced firearm, and the other is a European-made GLOCK pistol.
The notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the assassination of Baba Siddique. Gurmail Singh from Kaithal, Haryana, and Dharmaraj Kashyap from Bahraich, UP, were involved in the shooting. Police have apprehended Gurmail Singh and Dharmaraj Kashyap. The pistols were seized from these shooters. Meanwhile, Zeeshan, Shubham Lonkar, and Shiv Kumar remain fugitives. Prabhin, who was later arrested, and Shubham share a familial bond as brothers.

Shooting Occurred Outside Baba Siddique’s Office
Amidst the celebration of Vijayadashami in Bandra, outside Baba Siddique’s office, fireworks burst into the air. Between 9:15 and 9:20 PM, as Baba Siddique exited his son's office, gunshots rang out, masked by the din of the fireworks. Three individuals, masked with scarves, suddenly alighted from a vehicle and fired six shots at him. Baba Siddique was hit by three bullets, collapsing immediately. He was swiftly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he was declared dead.
No Criminal Record for Bahraich Shooters
No criminal records exist against Bahraich shooter Dharmaraj Kashyap in his district. However, Kaithal shooter Gurmail had a murder charge on his record. He had been imprisoned for this charge and was released on bail a few months ago. His family remains unaware of who arranged his bail, as revealed by his grandmother.
