Congress MP Shashi Tharoor humorously responded upon his omission from the Parliament speakers list, saying 'Silent vow, silent vow', then walked into the House with a smile.
Recently, a consensus was reached between the ruling and opposition parties for a discussion on the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor. Speculations were rife that Shashi Tharoor would be among the Congress orators, but the party released a list of six names today excluding him.

On a special discussion regarding India's Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, Congress representatives Gaurav Gogoi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Deepender Hooda, Praniti S. Shinde, Saptagiri Ulaka, and Bijendra S. Ola will participate.

Despite Tharoor not being included for representing Congress abroad regarding India's success and Pakistan's hostile actions, the government still sent a delegation led by him to the USA and other countries, which reportedly caused tension between him and the party.
Tharoor did not send request to CPP Office: Sources
Before Tharoor's response, sources revealed that MPs wanting to speak in the House must send a request to the CPP Office. However, Tharoor did not submit any request for speaking on Operation Sindoor.
