Shark Tank India's third season is well underway and we have witnessed some verbal skirmishes amongst the sharks, rivalling the innovative products they are pitched. The latest episode featured Pranjal Sinha, Akshetha Maitri, and Vikram Kumar presenting their unique product.
They introduced their online dispute resolution platform in Shark Tank India which aims to simplify legal matters outside of court. The pitchers sought 1 crore rupees in exchange for 1 percent equity for their platform.
Aman Gupta
and Namita Thapar extended a joint offer to the pitchers. Aman claimed, 'We're dealing with big MNCs for the past 14 quarters; this is what we bring to the table.' Following this, Shaadi.com's founder
Anupam Mittal
took a light jab at Aman Gupta.
Anupam remarked, 'This is a network effect business, not some audio or speaker sales gig.' The comment seemed to stir Gupta, suggesting to the platform founders that they should deal with a shark who handles things calmly. Subsequently, Ritesh Agarwal also joined the deal.
