A disastrous road accident occurred on the Mirzapur-Prayagraj Highway in Uttar Pradesh. A Bolero collided with a bus, causing the deaths of 10 people while injuring 19 others. The crash was so horrific that the Bolero was shattered into pieces. The aftermath was filled with cries of distress.

Addressing the incident, DCP Yamunanagar Vivek Chandra Yadav reported that the Bolero, transporting devotees from Chhattisgarh to the MahaKumbh, collided with a bus, resulting in 10 fatalities. This accident happened at around midnight on Friday on the Prayagraj-Mirzapur Highway under the jurisdiction of the Meja police station. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem to Swaroop Rani Medical Hospital. Further procedures are underway.

However, the exact cause of the accident remains unknown, and police investigations are ongoing. The crash's impact completely destroyed the Bolero.

19 Devotees Injured in Bus

It is reported that 19 devotees on the bus were injured, all from Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh. Currently, all the injured are undergoing treatment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his sorrow over the accident in a post on X, conveying deep sympathies for the lives lost in the road accident in Prayagraj district. Additionally, he instructed district administration officials to provide immediate medical attention to the wounded and hoped for their swift recovery.
