In a dramatic turn of events in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, a moving Tata Sumo suddenly caught fire. Instantly engulfed in flames, the vehicle was reduced to ashes. The wedding guests on board, in a desperate act of survival, managed to save their lives. It's suspected that an electrical short circuit triggered the blaze.
Upon receiving the alert, police and fire brigade teams rushed to the scene, and after intensive efforts, they successfully extinguished the fire. Miraculously, no lives were lost in the incident. Reports indicate that women and children were also present in the car. Footage of this thrilling escape is circulating on social media platforms.
The incident occurred near the Kanwar railway underpass. The son of Shyam Lal from Fatehpur Umra village was getting married, and 7 guests were en route to Kamasin village in the Sumo. Near the underpass, a short circuit caused the fire, and all the wedding guests had to leap out to rescue themselves. Police and firefighting units arrived shortly after being alerted, and a crowd gathered at the spot. Subsequently, the guests continued their journey to the destination in another vehicle.
DSP Avadhesh Vishwakarma reported that they were informed of a car fire, and immediately dispatched the fire brigade personnel. They managed to control the fire, but the car was completely destroyed. The guests narrowly saved their own lives. The car fire was caused by a short circuit, and an investigation is underway.
