The chaos during the survey at the Jama Masjid in Sambhal, UP, has led to the tragic death of three individuals. The Superintendent of Police has verified this incident. The deceased have been identified as Noman, Bilal, and Naeem. Police officials reported the arrest of several individuals, including two women who were throwing stones from rooftops.

At the scene during the turmoil, Sub Inspector Vikas Nirval spoke to news agency Aaj Tak, recounting that there was a crowd of about 300 people, with more individuals behind them. The crowd targeted the police, resulting in injuries, including to the Sub Inspector.

On Saturday morning, following a court order, a team arrived for the survey, but local residents began hurling stones, compelling police to use tear gas. During this time, protesters also ignited fires. Several police officers, including the SP, were injured during the event.

Regarding the stone-pelting incident, SP Krishna Kumar stated, 'The stone pelters aimed to attack the police vehicles by setting them on fire. Action under the NSA will be taken against them. Drone technology and CCTV footage will be used to identify these individuals, who will then face actions.'

Amid growing tensions during the court-ordered survey, officers, including DIG Muniraj from Moradabad and ADG Ramit Sharma from the Bareilly zone, have been dispatched to the scene. In addition, three PAC companies have been deployed throughout the region.

Officials noted that the survey, conducted from 7:30 AM to 10 AM at the mosque, is complete, with both video and photo documentation secured. The Advocate Commissioner will submit their report on this matter on November 29.

SP head Akhilesh Yadav has made a plea for peace in Sambhal, urging everyone not to abandon hope for justice, warning that injustice does not prevail for long. He mentioned that when the government changes, an era of justice will come.

The report from the Advocate Commissioner will detail findings from the survey. Controversy stems from the Hindu side's claim that the Mughal-era mosque stands on an ancient Hindu temple site. Following this claim, a second survey was conducted under senior lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain's leadership inside Jama Masjid.

As the controversy over the survey intensified, Akhilesh Yadav accused Yogi's government, questioning, 'Why was the survey done again after it was already completed, especially in the early morning? No one is listening to the other side. This was done for them (BJP) to dictate the election discussion.'

The former CM commented, 'What happened in Sambhal is a result of the BJP and administration's joint effort to prevent debate on election dishonesty. True victory belongs to the people, not the system. Here, people are being prevented from voting, while the system is being promoted.'
