Regarding the knife attack on Saif Ali Khan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that the police have acquired numerous leads and will soon resolve the matter. He mentioned that the investigation is ongoing. Earlier, his government's Minister of State for Home Affairs (Urban), Yogesh Kadam, indicated that the incident is related to theft and not the work of any criminal gang.

The Mumbai Police, probing the knife attack on Saif Ali Khan, have interrogated 40-50 individuals so far. Most of those whose statements were recorded are acquaintances of Saif. His staff has also been questioned. In the case of the knife assault, the police apprehended a person whose face allegedly resembled the attacker's. However, after interrogation, it was discovered that he was not the attacker.

Changed Clothes to Avoid Capture

Several Mumbai Police teams are investigating the assault on Saif Ali Khan. It is reported that during his escape, the suspect allegedly changed his clothes to avoid capture. CCTV footage from Saif's residence and the Lucky Hotel area in Bandra revealed that the suspect altered his appearance post-incident. Currently, the Mumbai Police have deployed over 35 teams to catch the accused.

Security Guards Were Positioned, But How Did the Attacker Enter?

According to information from the Mumbai Police, the suspect in the attack was spotted between Bandra Police Station and Railway Station. Until 8 AM, the suspect was wandering in the Bandra area, but police were unable to arrest him. Police are also investigating how the assailant managed to enter the building despite security guards being posted at both gates.
