Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is currently in the ICU ward of Lilavati Hospital. Following the attack, a team of doctors performed surgery on him. He is now out of danger, but the medical team is keeping a 24-hour watch over him.
Dr. Nitin Dange, a neurologist at Lilavati Hospital, conducted Saif's surgery. He stated that Saif would be shifted from the ICU tomorrow morning and discharged within a day or two. Post-operation, the doctors have thoroughly discussed the wounds Saif suffered. Lilavati Hospital's COO, Dr. Narez Uttamani, explained, 'A 2.5-inch knife fragment was lodged in Saif's bone, which was removed surgically. He had six injury marks on his body, two of which are deep.'
Attacked Six Times Consecutively
In reality, a thief broke into Saif Ali Khan's home at 2 AM on Wednesday night. There was an argument with Saif's children's nanny. Saif woke up at the noise and in an attempt to protect his family, ended up in a tussle with the thief, who stabbed Saif six times consecutively.

Surgical Removal of Knife Fragment
Out of the six stabs, two were particularly deep, impacting areas near the spine and neck. It is reported that a 2.5-inch knife fragment broke and remained embedded in Saif's spine. This was surgically extracted successfully by the doctors.
Nanny Also Wounded in Attack
In the same attack, Saif’s housemaid sustained injuries, though minor. It is suspected that the thief may have used a duct, which leads directly to a bedroom, to enter the house. Surprisingly, the knife attack on Saif occurred in the children’s room.

Family Present During the Incident
Reports indicate that, during the incident, Kareena Kapoor Khan and their children, Taimur and Jeh, along with the entire family, were present at home. Actor Saif Ali Khan bravely confronted the intruder to safeguard his family. An official statement from his team confirms that there was an attempted robbery at Saif's residence.
