In a shocking twist, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's alleged attacker, Md. Shariful Islam Shahzad, has his father, Ruhul Amin, declaring that the man shown in the CCTV footage is not his son. Speaking to India Today, he highlighted no resemblance between his son and the person seen in the footage.

Shariful's father claims, "The man seen in Saif Ali Khan's CCTV footage is not my son. That person's hair is very long, whereas my son usually keeps his hair short like a soldier." He shared that Shariful has completed his secondary education and used to support the family by driving a bike-rickshaw.

Ruhul Amin worked at a jute mill in Khulna, Bangladesh, until 2007 before returning to his village to farm. Evidence confirms the attacker's Bangladeshi identity, as Mumbai police's crime branch found Bangladeshi ID and driving licenses with the name Shariful Islam.

The attack on Saif Ali Khan has sparked widespread curiosity and skepticism across social and political circles. Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane's remarks questioning the authenticity of Saif's stabbing claims have stirred controversy, even as social media platforms are rife with speculation.

Nitesh Rane questioned whether Saif was genuinely attacked or merely 'acting.' His comments followed Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam's doubts about Saif returning to normalcy after a massive surgery quickly. Nirupam had earlier expressed skepticism about the actor's rapid recovery post-operation.
