During the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash against the Indian team, Pakistan's opener Sahibzada Farhan played a remarkable innings, scoring 58 runs off 45 balls with the help of five boundaries and three sixes. On September 21 (Sunday), at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, not only did Farhan captivate fans with his performance, but also caught the spotlight with his 'Gun Celebration'.

After reaching his half-century, Farhan mimicked holding his bat like a gun, an act that sparked criticism from fans. Farhan has now broken his silence regarding the 'Gun Celebration', describing it as merely a spontaneous moment. He stated, 'I am not concerned about what people will say about it.'

Prior to the match against Sri Lanka, in a press conference, Sahibzada Farhan remarked, "If you speak of hitting sixes, you can expect more in the future. The 'Gun Celebration' was just an impromptu reaction at that moment. I usually don't indulge in elaborate celebrations after scoring 50 runs, but the idea of doing something unique spontaneously came to me, so I went ahead with it."

Playing Aggressively is Essential: Farhan

Farhan further added, "I am unsure about how people will perceive this, and frankly, I do not care. You already know that playing aggressively is crucial regardless of the opponent. It shouldn’t be limited to matches against India alone. It’s vital to adopt an aggressive stance towards every team, as we demonstrated today."
