The incident occurred in the Sadar Bazaar area of Saharanpur, where a pedestrian woman attacked a scooty-riding lady constable near the railway station. First, the woman pulled the constable off her scooty and then began beating her. She pulled the constable’s hair and kicked and punched her on the ground.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the accused woman was carrying a school bag and walking with her 5-year-old child. The lady constable, approaching from behind on a scooty, asked her to move aside. This led to an argument between the constable and the pedestrian woman, who then resorted to violence.
