Western Ideas Have Failed, Only 'Indianness' Can Solve Global Issues - RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat

The head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Mohan Bhagwat, proclaimed on Tuesday that the world is grappling with numerous challenges, and the answer lies solely in embracing 'Indianness.' Speaking at an event, he highlighted that the attempts made over the last 2000 years based on Western ideologies to bring happiness and satisfaction to people's lives have not succeeded.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat stated, "While science and economic progress have provided material comforts, they have not eradicated suffering. The world now looks to India with hope." He urged people to internalize Indian values and present solutions to the globe.

In addition, the Indian Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), an organization linked to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), is set to celebrate its 70th foundation day on Wednesday. This was announced by BMS President Hiranmaya Pandya on Monday. According to him, "A grand event will take place on July 23, witnessing participation from numerous delegates."

Mohan Bhagwat to Address BMS Event

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat will address the gathering. Additionally, the Union Minister for Labor and Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, will be present as a special guest. The BMS was established on July 23, 1955, in Bhopal. On this occasion, the organization will honor its senior activists and office bearers for their outstanding contributions.

Trade Union Leaders and Employees to Attend the BMS Event

The event will also see the presence of the International Labour Organization's (ILO) India Director, representatives from the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, officials from the Ministry of Labor and Employment, MPs, and other trade union leaders. BMS President Pandya noted that the event will witness attendance from thousands of employees from Delhi and the NCR region, along with the heads of state units, general secretaries, federation leaders, and members of the extended national executive committee.
