In the tranquil town of Roorkee, Uttarakhand, audacious criminals in a Scorpio vehicle carried out an ATM heist on an SBI machine, fleeing with a significant amount of cash. The stolen ATM contained lakhs of rupees. As news of the heist spread, the police department was swiftly mobilized. The entire heist was captured on CCTV, providing a crucial lead in the police investigation.

In Dhandera, within the Civil Lines police precinct, the robbery took place under the cover of night. Sources reported that late at night, thieves employed a gas cutter to slice into the SBI ATM, making off with lakhs of rupees. The entire theft was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.

As soon as the police were informed about the ATM heist, they promptly examined the surrounding CCTV footage. SP Dehat, Swapn Kishore Singh, stated that the robbers had audaciously targeted an ATM in Dhandera and cleaned it out.

Initially, the culprits used a gas cutter to open the ATM. After securing the cash, they made their escape. Unfortunately, some cash burned in the process. The police are diligently investigating the matter and assert that a breakthrough is imminent.

Notably, just two days prior, the police forces of Civil Lines and Manglaur had cracked another robbery case, arresting two criminals and recovering the tools intended for bank robberies. These criminals were also planning to target an SBI bank, but the police apprehended them before they could execute their plan.
