The capital and its surrounding regions including Noida and Ghaziabad experienced refreshing rains this morning, bringing a delightful change in the weather. Across NCR, the downpour brought down temperatures, offering relief from the heat. Meanwhile, some areas faced waterlogging due to the rains. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts the continuation of this rainy pattern today (Thursday), June 27th.
The IMD foresees rainy conditions throughout the week in Delhi, with moderate rains expected on June 28 and 29, and heavy rainfall probable on June 30. Thunderstorms with rains are likely on July 1 and 2, whereas today, June 27th, will see intermittent light to moderate rains amid cloudy skies.
According to the IMD, Noida may also see thunderstorms and light to moderate rains from June 28 to July 2, accompanied by strong winds. The temperature for the week is anticipated to range between 32 to 39 degrees Celsius at its highest and 25 to 28 degrees Celsius at its lowest.
The IMD suggests that Delhi will encounter thunderstorms and heavy rains from June 28 to 30. The maximum temperatures throughout the week are expected to hover between 34 to 38 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperatures might linger in the proximity of 27 to 30 degrees Celsius.

What's the Forecast for Delhi's Temperature?
Delhi's residents are eagerly waiting for the monsoon's arrival. According to the IMD, the monsoon has reached the outskirts of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. Furthermore, there's a possibility of it reaching Delhi by June 29th.
SkyMet, a weather forecasting agency, predicts that in the next 3-4 days, the northern boundary of the monsoon will cover a large part of the country. During this phase, it will advance notably over the plains of the Indus and Ganga as well as over the majority of the northern mountains, moving towards the national capital.
Simultaneously, parts of Punjab and Haryana may experience an earlier than usual arrival of the monsoon. It is likely to reach Delhi anytime between June 28th and 30th.
