The Delhi-Noida region and its vicinity were graced with a hearty downpour this morning (July 13), transforming the weather into a pleasant experience. Residents of Delhi-NCR, having battled the sultry heat for days, welcomed the weekend with a pleasant climate shift. The rains were accompanied by cool breezes, providing much-needed relief and improving moods across the region. However, the rainfall also initiated waterlogging in some areas.
Earlier in the dawn, the Weather Department had issued warnings of rain. The department predicted the possibility of light to moderate showers along with thunderstorms and lightning in the areas of North Delhi, North East Delhi, Central Delhi, New Delhi, South Delhi, South East Delhi, East Delhi, and NCR regions including Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Gannaur, Sonipat, Sohna, Palwal, Nuh in Haryana, Baghpat, Baraut, Khekra, Sikandrabad, and Khurja in UP.
