An appalling incident has surfaced from Ramgarh district in Jharkhand, where a seven-year-old boy was subjected to terrifying brutality under suspicion of theft. The innocent child was stripped naked and ruthlessly beaten while tied to a tree. His cries of pain were heart-wrenching, yet the accused remained unmoved by the child’s agony.
A video of this harrowing episode has been captured and is now circulating on social media. Anurag Kumar, the child's brother, revealed that some individuals accused the child of stealing two thousand rupees.
7-Year-Old Stripped and Mercilessly Beaten
This cruel incident took place in the Diesel Side Colony of the Patratu police station area in Ramgarh district. The incident occurred around 4 PM on Friday. Local resident Bablu Tika Dhari accused the child of theft, apprehended him, stripped him of his clothes, and suspended him from a tree before starting the brutal assault with sticks.
In the video, it is evident that the child is pleading for mercy through tears, yet the attackers continued their relentless assault. Unbelievably, the assailant also recorded the entire event on a mobile phone, which has now gone viral. The victim’s family disclosed that the attackers not only assaulted the child but also ventured into their home and attacked family members.
Police Take Action on Child Beating
Anurag Kumar, the victim's elder brother, stated, 'My brother is innocent; he was beaten so brutally that he is now traumatized. We demand justice.' The family lodged a written complaint at the Patratu police station on Saturday, specifically naming the accused, Bablu Tika Dhari, who resides in the Diesel Colony.
Patratu Police Station Head, Shivalal Gupta, said, 'An FIR has been registered based on the victim family’s complaint, and investigations are underway. The accused will be swiftly arrested. Medical examination of the child is also being conducted.'
