Karnataka's capital, Bangalore, witnesses Rameshwaram Cafe reopening for service to its patrons, eight days following a bomb explosion. The blast injured ten people. With stringent security measures in place, the cafe has begun operations again.

On March 1st, the cafe's Brookfield outlet was struck by a low-intensity blast, resulting in injuries to several patrons and hotel staff. Maha Shivaratri saw the cafe's grand reopening, with customer service resuming on Saturday.

As per the administration, metal detectors have been installed at the cafe's entrance. Employees will screen each customer with handheld detectors before allowing entry, ensuring a close watch on all patrons for any suspicious activities.

On Saturday morning, co-founder and CEO of The Rameshwaram Cafe, Raghavendra Rao, led his staff in singing the national anthem before welcoming customers, who then proceeded through the metal detectors.

Patrons were seen queuing inside the cafe to place their orders. By 8 am, the cafe had returned to its regular business, serving breakfast as usual to customers.

The owner, Raghavendra Rao, stated, 'We have reinforced our security team and are endeavoring to create a separate panel by incorporating ex-military personnel to train the deployed security guards across all our branches.'

On Friday, when the outlet was reopened, a special worship ritual was conducted in the cafe, with police inspecting the security arrangements throughout the day. Following the incident, the cafe was shut down for police investigation. The NIA is probing the case and has found connections to the terrorist organization, Islamic State. Four suspects are currently in custody regarding this matter.
