Son and Daughter Arrested for Paper Leak Charges

The revelation came to light on March 12 when Aaj Tak exposed the scandal, prompting an investigation. The SOG arrested Ramuram Raika, along with his son and daughter, for leaking the exam papers. Notably, Raika's daughter ranked sixth in this exam. Now, the SOG is set to interrogate the trio, potentially revealing more secrets about the paper leak.

Rajasthan Police SI Recruitment Exam Took Place in 2021

Initially, the SOG had detained several fake trainee officers in the Sub-Inspector recruitment examination-2021 case. Subsequent interrogations provided significant leads to SOG. It was discovered that several Sub-Inspectors were involved in this scam, using dummy candidates to take the exam in their place.

Fake SIs Caught Through Dummy Exams

In April 2024, the SOG team conducted raids at the Rajasthan Police Academy, taking around 15 trainee SIs into custody. The SOG officers then conducted dummy exams with the genuine exam passers. The dummy exam had the same questions as the 2021 SI recruitment exam, yet, 17 trainee SIs failed to solve the paper. This intensified the police investigation.

Police Arrested 5 Trainees

Recently, the Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) detained five trainees, including three male and two female Sub-Inspectors. Following the revelation made by SOG, youth across the state have demanded the cancellation of the 2021 SI recruitment exam.

Main Accused Harshvardhan Meena Also Arrested

In the ongoing investigation into the Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector exam paper leak case, the police arrested the primary accused Harshvardhan Meena. The police took Meena to Bharatpur for further investigation, following his arrest near the Nepal border while he attempted to flee. On March 12, 2024, the SOG team led by DSP Shiv Kumar Bhardwaj brought Harshvardhan to Bharatpur, where he pointed out the locations where he had distributed the exam papers.

Investigation Continues Based on Harshvardhan's Leads
