A horrific road accident in Sirohi, Rajasthan, led to the tragic death of five people. Police reported that on Sunday night in Sirohi district's Pindwara area, a jeep collided with a truck, resulting in the death of five individuals and injuring about a dozen more.
Sirohi SP Anil Kumar shared that the jeep was driving in the wrong direction and collided with the truck. The police arrived at the scene and admitted the injured to the nearest hospital.
Fatal Accident in Kota, Claims 6 Lives
On the same day, another road accident in Kota resulted in six fatalities. The incident took place in Bundi district early Sunday morning when a speeding truck hit a van, killing six pilgrims and injuring three others.
The accident occurred around 5 a.m. when nine pilgrims from Dewas district in Madhya Pradesh were on their way to the Khatu Shyam temple in Sikar district. The deceased have been identified as Madan Nayak, Mangilal Nayak, Mahesh Nayak, Rajesh, and Poonam, aged between 16 and 40 years. One of the victims is yet to be identified. Hindoli Police Station Circle Inspector Pawan Meena stated that the truck had swerved into the wrong direction and collided with the van. Efforts are underway to locate the truck.
Just three days ago, another tragic incident in Churu claimed three lives. A car overturned after its tire burst, leading to the death of three people, including a 2-year-old boy. The victims were identified as Satyawan (62), Naveen (50), and Priyansh. The police reported that the car overturned on Taranagar-Rajgarh Road due to a tire burst, resulting in three deaths and injuries to five others, including two women.
