A startling incident has emerged from Rajasthan's Kotputli-Behror district involving the legislator's son, Pankaj Patel. Collaborating with his associates, Pankaj stormed into the police station, exhibiting sheer audacity. An excise department team had just apprehended a suspect but soon faced an unanticipated twist when Pankaj forcibly released the accused and snatched team members' mobile phones amidst chaos.
According to ASI Padam Singh, stationed at the excise police station, he acted on a tip regarding illicit liquor sales. During a crackdown, a suspicious youth was detained and subsequently brought to the station. Shortly thereafter, a menacing call from MLA's son, Pankaj Patel, rang through threatening transfers and spewing abuses.
MLA's Son Stages Brazen Station Takeover
In a shocking follow-up, roughly 40-50 people arrived at the excise station in seven-eight vehicles, swiftly engaging in a scuffle with the team. They forcibly liberated the detained suspect, severely disrupting official duties. With tension mounting, ASI Padam Singh managed to secure himself and summoned additional police reinforcement.
Police Register Case and Initiate Investigation
Subsequent to this dramatic sequence, a case has been filed against Pankaj Patel at the Pragpura station under several sections of the BNS, including 189(2), 121(1), 132, 333, 351(3), 221, 262, and 263(a). Currently, the police are actively probing the incident.
